Security detail view price graph is horrible

Hello

As long as I've owned Quicken since the 90s, I've found the price graph of the security view window to be useless and horrible. The "week" view is spaced too far apart to render a useful graph (see picture), and it contains vertical lines that I will assume to show a day's price movement perhaps. Only when you switch to "3 months" or longer is the graph visually helpful.

Is there a way to make the weekly view more compressed or to turn off the vertical bars along the bottom so that the graph doesn't look so spaced out horizontally??

Well, you can have the green bars at the bottom to be well spaced, or you can have the "dot-graph" be well spaced. I don't see how, on the Week view, you could have both.

BUT, if you simply select a longer period to view, the issue goes away.

I'd oppose this idea as impractical and easily bypassed.

BTW, the blanks on 8/10 and 8/11 are the weekend … an obvious by-product of your "Week" selection.

    thank you Not

I understand your points, and that 7 days is not enough data points to produce a well drawn and valuable graph.

I guess I'm wishing that it looked like when you see a 5 day plot of a stock's price in Chrome when you type NYSE ABC, for example.
