Looking at Connlog.txt

Any ideas? Why does Quicken bury this error that prevents downloading transactions?

What error code (or message) are you getting? Is this happening when you 1st try to connect, or when you try to download an already established connection?
And, the ConnLog isn't "burying" this error. That's the standard location for communication messages, and is normally used by Q Support (rather than this user-to-user forum). Have you contacted Q Support, via the link at the top of this page?

I call it a buried error because I get no message at all. In April I just started getting this message in the log every time I tried to update transactions on these accounts. I didn't notice it for a long time. I reset everything connected to Wells Fargo last week and it continued happening.
I haven't contacted Quicken support because I don't have another 4 hours to spend rebooting my PC, and other unrelated activities. I literally spent 4 hours on the phone with Quicken support one time and they didn't find a fix.
I am downloading QFX files now but really want to go back to downloading via Direct Connect.
