Quicken Home Inventory Detail View

I am running Quicken Classic under Windows 11. I just found a workaround to an issue with Quicken Home Inventory. Toggling from list view to detail view causes the program to crash. However, if you minimize the list view window, toggle to detail view, and then restore the window, you have full access to detail view.

Has anybody tried running this program in "Windows Compatibility Mode for Windows 7", as suggested in this discussion?
