Change in investment value - Dashboard

It would be nice to have a category of "Change in Investment Value" for the previous day. I like to check what the balance change was from the previous trading day. Some mutual funds to not report that until later in the afternoon/evening. Now I must go to Investing and select the previous day from the calendar. The daily investing changes would be nice to see on the Dashboard.

How about simply adding the "Day Gain/Loss" column to the Portfolio screen (CTRL-U) via the Customize button on that screen?

THEN, you could get the intra-day changes also.

I'd vote against your suggestion, if that were possible, since the feature already exists in Portfolio.

I agree it is in Portfolio where I usually find it except you must go select the previous day to see it. The purpose of the Dashboard is to give a quick visual summary.
