Quicken Mobile Sync Fails After Updates

The last two times Quicken updated my syncs fail resulting in me having to rebuild my register entries. Someone please fix this issue. And dont tell me to reset my cloud data becasue I already know how to do that and did it. The point is when syncing fails it makes entry into the mobile device completely useless as every entry needs to be rebuilt directly into quicken. This is extremely frustrating and makes the entire mobile solution worthless. I'm a customer of almost 30 years and if this happens one more time this customer is gone.

I have had the exact same issue and had to reset it 5 days ago. I usually only use desktop once a month to reconcile so rebuilding a whole month was incredibly frustrating. Then yesterday I opened desktop again because I wanted to make sure after wiping it and rebuilding the last 30 days from scratch I wasn't going to have to do it again next month and it did exactly the same thing. It just totally freezes - I left it running for 16 hours - and I just cleared everything and started over 5 days ago. If they can't figure this out I can't keep using their software, I'm better off with an excel spreadsheet at that point saved on my share drive.

That's why you'll find that few of the SuperUsers use the Q Mobile app. Too many issues with it.

Totally understood but as this is for my personal accounts (couple of checking/savings, few credit cards) that's way more "power" than I would need. I use a different program for my bookkeeping job that is way more expensive but works way better.

Ever heard of "you get what you pay for"???

My late father, a retired Arthur Andersen & Co senior partner, used a program called "Financial Navigator" for his personal finances. Cost about 15 times Quicken … and only a CPA could understand it. As you can see from my signature line, I've got a financial systems background and I found FN to be too confusing/complicated for personal use.

    Agreed.

My signature below outlines the features I avoid that are prone to issues and as a result I have remained trouble-free for years. In general comprehensive and complex programs that were designed to be desktop-based as a requirement have a challenge to sync to their mobile and web platforms unless they have unlimited funds.
