How to get DCP and HSA deductions in the Taxable YTD?

hello,

I see there just 401k deductions as _401kContrib, but there are nothing for DCP and HSA deductions that lowers gross income.

As result the TOTAL shows way higher value.

How to add all income gross related deductions to that Taxable Income YTD to get correct TOTAL?

Best Regards

I have my HSA modeled as a tax-deferred checking account with Tax Schedule → 'Transfers in' set to W-2:Salary or wages, self. In my paycheck, I have a Pre-Tax Deduction whose category is a transfer to the HSA checking account. In the Tax Planner → Wages → Wages and Salaries - Self, I see the correct reduction to taxable income.

I'm sure there are other ways to model this in Quicken, but this has worked for me.

@Q97 thank you for the reply.

Yes, it works for me for the PayCheck and in the Tax Planner, but the report "Taxable Income YTD" doesn't see any of HSA or DCP at all.

Do you have the HSA in the "Taxable Income YTD" middle report?

No, my HSA contributions do not show up in Planning → Tax Center → Taxable Income YTD. Other users have also reported this as an issue:

Taxable Income YTD section of Tax Center, ignores account Transfers that affect Taxable Income? — Quicken

I prefer the Tax Planner, so I have not really paid much attention to this before.

@Quicken Anja any answers or guidance from Quicken for this matter? please.

In a way this is another part to address missing Roth or Tax Free type support that has been missing by Quicken for so long.
