Online Credit Cards in Online Bills always short .01

Another month. Been going on for a long time now, at least for me.

Today, first two monthly credit card bills came in from Citi and Chase. BOTH exactly for .01 less than the statement. I have reported many times.

It feels like it is connected to have a reminder for each of those bills and that, perhaps with no linked reminder might not be inaccurate biut too much work to confirm that. it definitely started around the time of required EWC or maybe EWC+ changes.

Does this happen to anyone else?

How are those monthly bills coming in? I don't have any Citi cards … but I have several Chase cards and I'm not seeing what you're reporting in either.

I'm downloading into both Chase accts via EWC+

Thanks for the reply, @NotACPA. Yes, EWC+ on both. Both have a reminder. Both in Online Bills. Both come in exactly .01 short UNLESS the bill is an even dollar amount. AMEX does not seem to do this. Nor Fidelity (Elan)

Do you have yours linked to a reminder?

Both of my Chase cards have reminders. I don't use the linkage of reminders to Online Bills, rather I just examine the Online Balance at the bottom of the registers.

If you have an upcoming bill and are willing to link to the reminder. would be interesting to see if you are .01 short as well.

    Hello @Bob.,

You reported this issue in July, and when I check the ticket (CTP-10467), it shows that the issue is still in work. I can see that you already sent a new problem report with log files for this issue, so I made sure to attach the updated logs to the existing ticket.

    Thank you!

Thanks Kristina. Glad it is on the bug list.

I am trying an experiment and will, of course, post if I get results.

    1. I unlinked the bill from the reminder for one Chase account.
    2. I deleted the reminder and all future for this account.
    3. I recreated a NEW reminder from the online biller rather than in manage reminders and link.

Should know in 10 days or so.
