Add an account (Q Mac)

There is no plus sign to add an account for Mac Classic. How do I add a new account?

You should see a plus sign at the top of the sidebar in the main window:

If your sidebar is collapsed, you won't see it. In that case, you can click the expand sidebar icon to expand it:

You can also click menu Accounts > Add Account in the menu bar to add a new account.

I do not see a plus sign and I don't have an option to drop down accounts. Am I in the wrong place? this is where i go

Above, you are referring to the Quicken mobile app or the web interface to Quicken mobile, the online companions to the Quicken program on your computer.

New accounts cannot be added from the Mobile app or Quicken on the Web; they are companion apps to the full Quicken Classic on your desktop computer. New accounts can only be created from the Quicken Classic desktop program and then synced to the cloud in order for them to be visible in either of the companion apps.
