Investing - Showing Returns

In Portfolio view, I see Gain/Loss % and Return % YTD.

Questions:

  1. Is the Gain/Loss% the return since day 1?
  2. Is the number shown annualized?
  3. Return % 3-Year, 5-Year shows NA despite me having these holdings for that length of time. How do I fix this to get the %? (I do get a number for the 1-year %)
  4. The Account does not give me a Return YTD (nor 1-year, 3-Year , 5-Year), but I do get a Gain Loss (%%).

REQUEST

FOR DEVELOPERS - can you enable the performance of the account not just the underlying holdings?

Thanks you

Gain/Loss% is the percentage difference between your market value and cost. Return factors in income

well yes I know that. That’s not what I asked.

Well, g/l% would be from day 1since cost is from day 1. And, no, it is not annualized.

The other questions I cannot answer.

    3. Return (%) XXX data comes from Quicken's quote provider, and is not based on your purchases and sales. If a column is blank, the data was not provided. You would have to work with Quicken Support to try to get that fixed.

Your request for developers - Have you tried grouping the Portfolio view by account? That gives account-level data for most measures.
