I contacted my bank concerning a problem with Quicken updates giving duplicate transactions. They provided a # for Quicken Support. Representatives at that # stated I needed to purchase "Quicken Care" in order for them to assist with issue. They accessed my computer and stated I had several problem with Quicken and Microsoft which they could fix, They fixed the issue then sent me an invoice $233, They said they would momentarily leave my computer for me to fill in credit card info. I supposedly purchased "Quicken Care" and renewed my subscriptions which expires January 2025. When I contacted Quicken the next morning to confirm, I was informed no such thing as Quicken Care.and subscription not renewed. I have contacted my bank to stop payment

Right. Sorry the bank gave you a number for support. Other links or phone numbers found elsewhere on the Internet, even in some posts here in the Community, may not be from Quicken or may not be up-to-date. Use those at your own risk.  They usually try to charge you a lot to "fix" your computer and will probably install malware and viruses.

Unlike other so-called "Quicken support providers", the real Quicken Support is free for all currently supported versions.

Here is the only official support number and info and it is free.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
