Is there any effort to add Coign credit card to Quicken support?
This has been a conversation for over a year. It can't be that hard to add quicken support. What is Quicken doing to facilitate the process.

Are you referring to this old discussion?
It's up to the card issuer to initiate the process of setting up a contract with Intuit Inc. as the download service provider.
It might be best if you contacted higher management levels at the bank and requested that they support Quicken downloads. See if you can find a link to the Office of the President at their website and email them.

Coign customer service has stated that it is in the works, but there is no ETA. Looking at the last entries in January it appears that there is no progress. Is there anything being done to add support for Coign credit cards?

That seems a bit short sighted. I would think Quicken would like to expand their influence and usage further and would be actively seeking banks and partners. I didn't think Intuit owned Quicken anymore, so as an independent company, I guess there is enough sales to keep the returns but not enough for growth?

Adding a new financial institution to the participating partners available for One Step Update is between the FI and Quicken's aggregation service (Intuit). Quicken has nothing to do with it.
You need to rattle Coign's cage to get it done quicker.

Extending @splasher's reply … Coign needs to sign the contract with Intuit to make this happen.
It WON'T happen until that contract is 1st signed … and even then Coign will need to make changes to their system to implement this.

Intuit doesn't own Q …. but it's still the online connectivity provider for Q. That was part of the agreement when Intuit sold Q.

So if I contact Coign who do I say to call at Quicken? Is there an 800 number or an email address? Is there a representative at Quicken that we could direct them to call and is there a defined program of technical specs to start an internal project?
