Autofill not working properly

My autofill works sometimes. But many of my downloaded transactions, either bank or credit card still fill in with uncategorized. I am always saving to prefill but it doesn't help. One theory, is the name of payee changes in some form, usually the numbers following ex. here is a downloaded transaction: AIRBNB PAYMENTS XVDI2TXRM5 but the next download with say airbnb payment with a different number/letter following, or sometimes numbers/letters precede the Payee. Is this why qkn does not recognize transaction? how to get qkn to recognize any part of payee name to fill in category? Also, my recent transaction categories do not save. How to change this? thanks

This is what Renaming Rules are for. You can create a Renaming Rule to rename the Payee of any transaction which downloads with "AIRBNB PAYMENTS" to be simply "AirBNB":

The will standardize all your AirBNB transactions to use the same, simple Payee name of AirBNB.

And once you have the Payee name standardized, you can create a QuickFill rule for the Payee to apply the Category you want them to have.

These "local" rules you create take precedence over whatever renaming or auto-categorizing Quicken would otherwise do or not do.
