WHY can't you login? What happens?
Are the 2 installs of Q (laptop & PC) the same? Same/copied data file?
Also, on the laptop, try holding down the CTRL and ALT keys while you click on the icon to open Q. That should cause the program to open without opening a data file (which you can subsequently open via the FILE menu.)
If that initial open works, you've got a corrupted data file. Restore from a recent backup.
If it doesn't work, you've got a corrupted program file. Reinstall.

When I try to update stock prices in Quicken on my laptop, a frame opens telling me to login to Quicken. I enter my username and click continue. In the next frame, I enter my password and click continue. Next I get a frame with the 2/3 circle going around. After a while I get a message that the Quicken server isn't responding & to wait 10 minutes before trying again.
If I try to login to Quicken.com on my laptop from my browser, I get the same login process and the same message.
If I try to login to Quicken.com on my wife's PC, it works. If I try to login to the Community, it works. That seems to indicate that the problem is isolated to my laptop. I will go through the steps you outlined to determine if the problem is the data file or the program file. Thanks

I initially misunderstood your issue. I thought that you couldn't log into the Q program on your laptop.
My CTRL-ALT suggestion will do nothing for your issue, although a reinstall MIGHT (but FAR from assured).
I think that you'll need to contact Q Support (we're on a user-to-user forum) via the Link at the top of this page.

Sorry for the confusion. I will see what Support has to say.
