Can I print a 1099-NEC using Quicken Business & Personal

I pay one contractor weekly and will need to submit a 1099-NEC.

Is it possible to print the 1099 for the contractor and a 1096 for the IRS?

If possible, how do I set up the contractor?

NO. Q can't print any tax forms. You can record the info that belongs on tax forms …. but not actually print the form.

AFAIK, these forms can be printed with Turbotax Home & Business feature level and/or possibly other Tax software. Please ask the Turbotax Community or Turbotax Support

I just opened TTAX 2023 and found a "Form 1099-NEC Worksheet" …. but no Form 1096. Haven't received TTAX 2024 yet.

@NotACPA Which TT version do you have? It's only in the Home & Business version and it does have both 1099NEC and 1096 for efiling or printing. You have to start a new separate tax return then Check the second circle that says Prepare W-2s and 1099s for my employees or contractors. Or if you are already in a tax return, In the upper right click on Employer Forms, Create Forms you will get a box to Create employer forms using Quick Employer Forms OR you can pick Create forms on Desktop at the bottom.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

AAHHH, that could be the issue. Even though I run Q H&P, my TTAX is Premier
