Is the download from Banks and Brokerages not working at all on 10/12/2024?

Tried downloading activity for most of my accounts this am. One bank downloaded really old data that had been previously downloaded for one account and nothing for the other account. Fidelity didn't bring in any transactions, although it updated the balance. Generally messed up everything. Anyone else having problems.

I have not had any issues downloading this morning with 5 different data files. Three of these files have Fidelity Investments taxable, IRA and Roth IRA brokerage accounts for which transactions did download.

Have you tried running OSU, again, since your post above?

Yes, I tried rerunning OSU. Restarted system as well. Fidelity data is current through 10/9 but activity for 10/10 and 10/11 has not downloaded - although balances have updated. Credit cards seemed to work, but the 2 lesser used bank accounts were just weird. Have also tried resetting one of the Fidelity accounts but didn't make a difference.

@Kay Voorhees Fidelity has multiple names, and download methods, in Q.

Please do TOOLS, Account List and across from your Fidelity accounts tell us which Fidelity name (Financial Institution column) and download method (Transaction Download column) you're using.

I have 6 accounts at Fidelity, and all downloaded successfully this morning. "Fidelity Investments" and "Direct Connect" in my cases.

I have 5 Fidelity accounts and all ran/downloaded without incident until yesterday or today. See screen shot, two are very inactive. There is no column header for Financial Institution, but they are all set to Fidelity Investments. Headings below are Transaction Download, Last Download, #Transactions, Last Reconcile:

You can turn of the FI column via the Options button at the bottom of that dialog.

And it's curious that you say if brought in the balance … since your "Last Download" column is blank. When you go to any of those account registers, is a Download date showing immediately below the account name?

Also, when you click on those Edit buttons … what shows as the Account Type?

I'm running Quicken Priemier and have now for many years. The account types vary - brokerage, 529, IRA. I added the FI column and am including below for your thoughts. And yes, my earlier post left off the last 2 accounts - so there are actually 7.

I generally run the download on all accounts every couple of days and have never before had a problem with Fidelity (or the bank that I mentioned in my first post). The Download tab correctly shows at the bottom of each register but reflects 0 transactions downloaded - normally it would have picked up the ones with yesterday's or todays date that show in the actual Fidelity account and held them pending my "accept".

May I ask, are you another user, or are you on Quicken support staff?

Gave up and restored a backup file from 10/9 and reran the download. Everything worked as it should have.

@Kay Voorhees All Q staff who are present on this forum have a userID that starts with "Quicken".

After my ID, it reads SuperUser, which is a title granted by Q itself to certain individuals based upon their knowledge of the product.

And the "Not Available" indication in the "Last Download" column remains most curious.

But, if you're happy with the situation, I suppose there's nothing else to be done.

Thanks, I haven't used the community that often, so wasn't sure. I agree the "Not Available" in the "Last Download" seems odd but it's been that way for a long time - interestingly, for at least 6 months to a year, if I watch the download process it will show the linking, updating messages, etc and say completed, but then doesn't show the update date on anything other than bank accounts . Seemed to coincide with one of the update releases - but didn't seem to affect anything and transactions have always been downloaded for the correct period. No idea why it ran right after the restore, but assume, for now at least, that the file was somehow damaged. Anyway, appreciate your thoughts and comments.
