How to do Citibank re-authorization?
Windows 11. Quicken Classic Deluxe R59.10
During the Citibank communication outage, I got prompts to re-authorize my accounts, which did not work. I got a notice from Quicken that this was a known problem and was being worked on. As best I recall, I did not try to re-authorize those accounts again. The updates magically started working about a week ago.
When I started Quicken today, I got a pop-up saying that I would get a prompt to re-authorize my Citibank accounts: I should wait for that prompt and follow the instructions, but this task must be done by Oct 22. (Today is Oct 12).
I ran a 1-step update, and did not get a prompt to re-authorize my Citibank accounts. Those accounts again updated without a problem.
What now? Should I manually re-authorize without waiting for a prompt? I'm not sure how to do that. Do I take the accounts off line then put them online again?

I've been telling people they should probably not do anything until if and when Quicken prompts them to reauthorize. There are a number of reasons for that. You can read one of my posts about it here and the fact that a Moderator referenced it in another thread is a good indication that the Moderator agrees with what I posted: Citi Strata MC and Citi Costco Visa continued download issues.
So, I wouldn't fret about it. When the time is right (about 10/22) you will be prompted by Quicken to reauthorize and you will get a "Reauthorize" button to click on. The pop-up notice we received should be viewed as nothing more than a heads-up notice that the change is coming.

Ah, thanks for the reference. 😁 I see that my Citi accounts are already set up for EWC+, so I should definitely do nothing unless I get a prompt.

Today is the 21st. No prompt. I'm having to manually download all of the charges on my cards and balance my checking/savings. Why am I using Quicken?

The Citi Announcement was that the prompt would not occur until 10/22. Also, the prompt will not occur for anyone who does not already have a download connection established. And no one yet knows which Citi connection(s)…DC, EWC+, EWC and/or WC… will be prompted.
Why are you having to manually download all of the charges on your cards and balance your checking/savings? If you would provide some details regarding that (which specific cards?…which Citi financial institution(s) are you trying to set up for download?…when you try to set up or do downloads what happens?…which troubleshooting processes have you tried and what was the result?…error codes/messages?… etc.) then perhaps someone will be able to offer some suggestions that might help to resolve the issue(s) you are experiencing.
