Unexplained Spike in My Portfolio

The data from my investment portfolios has been very reliable in the past, but on 10/10/24 I ended up with this crazy spike. Does anyone know how I can correct this? I'm assuming the data comes from the individual investment accounts, so is there somewhere in Quicken were the data for individual dates is stored? I would like to edit it manually. Any help is more than welcome. Thanks.

You can look at individual security prices by opening the Securities window from the Window menu, and then double-clicking on a security and selecting the Price History tab. You can double-click on a specific date to edit the price on that date. If you do make any changes make sure to close the price history window by pressing the Save button, otherwise the changes will be lost.

    UPDATE:

I found out the two accounts that caused this error are from Schwab. It was caused by stock splits. The number of shares increased, but the closing price did not change till the following day.

@ohuber Was there a recent "corporate event" (such as a split or a spin-off) in one of your securities?

That will sometimes cause the spike (and immediate reduction) that you're showing.
