Quicken crashes on trying to open a file on macOs after upgrade to 15.0.1

Quicken is crashing on trying to open a file on macOs after upgrade to 15.0.1. It keeps going back to a window that is titled "Quicken encountered an unexpected error". pls help.

    It could be this:

    If it's that, I don't know that there's anything you can do other than to either upgrade to the public beta of 15.1 or try to downgrade back to Sonoma until 15.1 gets out of beta.

    OK, here's one easier thing you could try. Go to Library/Preferences in your home folder, find the file named "com.quicken.Quicken.plist" and rename that to something else. Relaunch Quicken; you'll need tell it which Quicken file to reopen since it will have forgotten what file you last had open. If that works and you're able to reopen the file without crashing then just avoid looking at the Portfolio views.

    If that doesn't work then rename the original file back to "com.quicken.Quicken.plist".
