Mac Calendar very, very slow with only a couple of accounts selected
I did do a search on Calendar and I see that there are a lot of instances for problems with the Calendar for Windows and Macs.
I run Quicken Classic Version 7.10.0. I have had this same problem for years
I suspect that I have a lot of transactions/accounts in my file for the calendars view.
Symptom:
No Calendar entries are shown with all three selected (transactions, balances and investment changes) for all accounts
I have seen that If I select one of the above and wait 30 mins, I might see the current month but that is rare.
Trouble shooting:
I created a Calendar with only one lightly used checking account and I select balance and transactions, it did displayed the one entry each (correct) after a waiting a few minutes.
I then added another highly used checking account , it takes about 5 minutes to populate all of the entries for the month. If I scroll a month, it will show that month. If I scroll back, the calendar is blank for all months. If you wait another 5 minutes, the process starts again.

@gsulshski I don't typically use the Calendar in Quicken Mac, but I do on occasion. I just checked with my file, and I'm not experiencing the problems you describe. When I first click to open the Calendar window, it populates the current month within less than a second. Going back one month takes about a second to populate. If I click the "<" icon several times in a row to move back several months, it still takes only about a second to populate.
My Calendar is set to All Accounts, and to Show Balances, Show Transactions, and Show Investment Changes — the same as you.
My Mac is a 2023 M3 iMac with a solid state hard drive, so the hardware is pretty fast. Do you perhaps have an old Mac with a spinning hard drive? Otherwise, I'm at a loss to explain why you're seeing such incredibly slow results and I'm not.

Often mentioned in discussions about slow Mac performance here in the Community is an issue when there are one or more other windows open, hiding behind the main Quicken Mac window.
Could this be what's causing your slowness? Close these extra windows and see what happens.0 -
@UKR I was going to mention that myself, but I did a test with 4 open report windows, and it didn't affect the performance of the calendar. So I don't think that's it… but it's certainly worth checking.
Pull down the Window menu and see if there is anything on the menu beneath "Sync Errors"; these would be open windows, possibly hidden behind the main window. Select each one and close the window. With no other open windows, is there any change in the performance of the Calendar?
