Backups on my computer

It appears my backups are not being stored on my computer. This started when Quicken offered online backups for $1.99 per month.

The new online backup service, offered as an add-on subscription, should not have anything to do with the free ability to create local backups on your computer.

First, have you checked Settings > Backup to see if the checkbox for local backups is still checked?

(Side note: if you're not going to subscribe to the online backups service, this is the place to un-checked the "Show icon in main window" to get ride of the green online backup icon in the upper right of your main window, next to the red "Q" logo")

If the first checkbox is checked, what happens if you check the "Ask before backing up" checkbox? When you quit Quicken, does it ask you if you want to back up?

Next, you may want to check the location of your Backup folder. It's possible Quicken created a new backup folder in its default location, an dis creating backups there, if you had previously moved your backup folder to some other location.
