Can't open my quicken file

I can't open my Quicken file. The app sends me to the "Let's Get Started" box. I try to 'recover' the file. Same result. I can't seem to get a hold of anyone that can help me. I uninstalled the application and reinstalled and I am still having the same issues. Any advice?

    Sounds like your data file is corrupted. What happens if you try to create a new test file? If that works, then restore a known-good back up file.

    Where is your dta file stored ? (same old question)

    is it on a Cloud service like iCloud, Dropbox or oneDrive ?

    If so it shouldn't, this is why it was corrupted,

    like RalphC is saying open a your last back up file ans save it in a folder that does not sync with a cloud service

    When you get the "Let's Get Started" page, have you tried clicking the "Open Quicken file" button at the bottom of that window? And then navigating to and selecting your current live data file (it's a file ending in ".quicken", not ".quickenbackup", and should have a date stamp of the last day you used it).
