Security Comparison Mismatch after correcting downloaded misidentified Investment Securities
I noticed that my Quicken investment accounts totals were consistently different than the accounts totals reported for my accounts on the Schwab website. Comparing the detailed security holdings recorded on Quicken to the detailed holdings reported on the Schwab website, I identified a couple of securities which were misidentified in Quicken. (Transactions in my Quicken investment account are downloaded via Express Web Connect+ and not manually entered.)
I edited the incorrect transactions to change the security to the appropriate ones and now the totals are equal and the detail holdings match (Quicken and Schwab are the same). However, I now have a Security Comparison Mismatch on all accounts showing;
For the INCORRECT SECURITY
XXX Shares Reported and 0 Shares in Quicken
For the CORRECT SECURITY
0 Shares Reported and XXX Shares in Quicken
I did run rebuild investment lots hoping this might correct the issue, but it did not.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to correct this?
Thanks in advance for any help.

irasend1 & Jim_Harman,
Thank you for your replies.I had already successfully changed the Security Names and it was after those changes that the issue occurred. I finally resolved the issue. (BYW irasend1, deleting and adding back did not solve the issue. Here is what did solve it.
I was able to determine that the securities (the Old Securities) I changed the names from had the incorrect CUSIP recorded in Quicken. As you might have guessed, these Old Securities had the CUSIP for the New Securities which I had changed the security name to.
To correct the issue, I opened Holdings, went to Settings and selected go to full portfolio. I found the Old Security and under Settings there selected "show closed lots". From there >Security Details and pushed Edit Details. Unchecked "Matched with Online Security." Problem solved.
Hope this helps others who mya encounter the same issue.Quicken User since 80s,

I know that this will be a PIA, but I would probably manually delete each transaction involving the offending security and reenter it with the proper name. Sorry, but I cant think of a way to automate this.

You can easily edit the incorrect transactions to change the security name.
Go to Edit > Preferences > Keyboard mappings and select Windows standard if it is not already selected
Back up your data in case something goes wrong.
Click on the Security header to sort them by name.
Correct one of the names, then highlight the corrected name and hit Ctrl-C
Save the edited transaction.
Select the name of the next affected transaction to highlight it and hit Ctrl-V
Repeat.
