subcategory not showing in reports (old or new Q Mac)

Hi, I've researched this and not found an answer. I created a new subcategory, and it's not showing in my reports. I checked the box to include the category before I made the report, and I tried running both my preferred old report, and the new Quicken report. Not there. I restarted the app, and nope. My version is Quicken Classic Deluxe 7.9.1. Here's a screenshot. Photo 1 is the category list, the sub-category I want to show up is "HSA disimbursement." Photo 2 is a classic report, Photo 3 is new report. HSA should be showing up before "insurance" but is not. Thanks in advance.

It's not clear to me from your post: did you manually add this new sub-category to your report? New categories won't be included automatically in existing saved reports. In the report, you need to go to Edit > Categories, find the new sub-category, and check it to include it in the report.

  • Yes, I did this, first thing. I said that in my post but I probably didn't make it that clear, sorry.

  • I figured out the issue and no longer need help. Thanks.

  • Sure. I couldn't add a category because the transaction should have been shown as a transfer.
