Category not populated with memorized transactions

when I enter a new transaction on any account by selecting from the drop down list of memorized transactions, the category does not populate. It is blank. This was working before.

Even after entering it and saving the transaction, the category is not populating when the memorized transaction is used again.

This happening with all memorized transactions.

it is working with downloaded transactions from financial institutions.

    It sounds like your Memorized Payee txn doesn't have a category saved with the txn. Edit them to show the appropriate category and then SAVE them.

    Maybe this applies to you…

    If you have sync to cloud enabled in "Mobile & Web" it may be removing the categories from your memorized payees. While I had this enabled, I lost over 50 of my categories from my memorized payees. Disabling this resolved the disappearing categories. Also noticed some of the checkmarks from lock and show on calendar disappeared.

  • I turned off sync to the cloud yesterday and no change. I deleted the memorized payees and then created a new one by entering it on an account thus creating a new memorized payees. I enter a new transaction on an account, it appears on the dropdown listing but the category does not appear when selected.

    I deleted the memorized payees, created a new manually in the memorized payees listing and then entered a new transaction on an account. The results were the same, the category did not populate.

    I believe that there is a bug with the application.

    Please verify that all settings related to Data Entry and Quickfill are enabled in Edit / Preferences / Data Entry and Quickfill.

    One or more of these settings appear to be important when creating new transactions from a memorized transaction.
