Fidelity Rewards Visa Credit Card: Online Balance Fixed?

Beginning 6/26/2024, the Fidelity Rewards Visa card using the Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts financial institution (EWC+ connection method) started returning the Online Balance transaction dollar amount as a positive dollar figure instead of a negative dollar figure. This has been a pretty consistent issue ever since then.

Most people who had set up this credit card for download with Fidelity resolved the issue by changing their download connection to Elan Financial Services (Elan is the card issuer).

Today, in a test file, during OSU with the Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts financial institution the Online Balance for this EWC+ connection was correct….for the first time since 6/26/2024.

I double checked this in 2 other test files and got the exact same results.

I found it interesting that this occurred the day after it was announced that the issue of 6/26/2024 that precipitated this incorrect Online Balance issue was resolved: RESOLVED 11/4/24 Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts FDP-101/CC-601.

It should be noted that the observed improvement with the Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts financial institution applies only to the Fidelity Rewards Visa card. Downloads of investment accounts using this financial institution are still quite problematic.
