Q for Windows Bus & Personal

Fund BSCAX changed CUSIP in August 2024

When update shows old with double the number of shares and new with negative shares but no negative balance so value is twice the actual value. New Title was the CUSIP number.

I changed the new showing as CUSIP to BSCAX symbol and merged it with old and re updated.

Now shows old double one as before but new shows negative shares and negative balance so between the two the balance is correct but shows both double value on one line (same name Brandes Small-Cap Value Fund Class A (except one line is all caps vs mixed caps and small on 2nd.

How solve so correct value all on one line…. if all this makes sense….

I don't see any indication online that BSCAX changed its CUSIP. Did you perhaps have a Share Class conversion, from Class I (BSCMX, CUSIP 238310744) to Class A (BSCAX, CUSIP 238210751) for example?

Or maybe this is a 401(k) and you changed from a publicly traded version of the fund to a similarly named private version.

In either case, we can provide instructions for recording this correctly in Quicken.
