Missing transactions, how do I find them?

Windows Classic

I have several holdings at Fidelity that pay dividends and reinvest several days later. These would all be for 10/31.

I'm missing 16 transactions for 10/31 that have not downloaded when I update. I have had other unrelated transactions already update the past few days.

Is there somewhere I can look in Quicken to see if they did download? Or, is there a way to get it to update them again from Fidelity?

Otherwise, do I just manually enter them?

If nobody comes up with a better idea … (I don't have Fidelity accounts, so I don't know if this function is available) …

    • try downloading a QFX file from the website and import the transactions either directly into your brokerage account or into a temporary new investment account register.
    • If that fails, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and request help.  Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it. They can review your download log file and see if those transactions actually did download.

    Thanks.

I finally just manually entered all the missing transactions.

This had happened a time or 2, the QFX file I couldn't figure out. I had an issue with the program just closing down, tried to send a sanitized file to Quicken and couldn't do that either.

It just seems if you have an account, in my case Fidelity, and you either buy, sell or get dividends, that the "transactions" are somewhere. If they are not in the Quicken register, why can't they download again? Why can't I download again from Fidelity. I could deactivate the account, but then I only get the past 90 days and lose my history.

There's a lot to Quicken that isn't always easy to basic users. But thank you for your response.

Please do not confuse "deactivate account" with "delete account".
Deactivating only removes the online connection of your account to the servers. It does not delete prior transactions and all your transaction history.
Only if you "delete" the account, together with all its transactions, will you lose your history.

    UKR,

It seemed when I deactivated and reactivated, I only got like 90 days of transactions, not the full history. Everything prior was like 1 deposit or amount in placeholder.

It's odd, I'm not sure if it's a Quicken or Fidelity problem. I'm waiting on 3 transactions to show up from Friday. Often, it takes 5-6 days.
