2nd Payroll in Planning not showing up

Hi All,

I have my wife's payroll entered into Bills & Income (she gets paid twice monthly). In future periods, her 2nd (end of month payroll) doesn't show up, just the first one, so the forecast vs. actual/expected is off by that payroll. For my payroll entries which is every two weeks, it shows up. Thoughts or suggestions? I've done the super file validate/repair already with no luck.

I notice, in your graphic, that the Date is Dec 15, and you say she gets paid twice a month. Is it safe for me to assume that she gets paid on the 15th and last of the month (or business day preceding)?

If so, how have you scheduled those paychecks in Q? When I had such a payday schedule, I had 2 transactions scheduled … one for each payday and NOT 1 pay with a repeat 2 weeks later.

I'm guessing that you have 1 scheduled with a repeat in 2 weeks, but since it's only 1 scheduled transaction, only 1 is shown in the Planner.

Thanks for replying NotACPA. I have them set up as the 15th and end of month.

The odd thing is that I have mine scheduled the same way and my payroll doesn't have the same issue. I have tried deleting and reentering, but the same issue appears. Weird, huh?

I, obviously, didn't remember the "15th & Last" option … but then my wife and I are both retired and no longer receive paychecks.

SO, I'm mystified regarding your issue. Have you tried contacting Q Support via the link at the top of this page?

Also, are the amounts in those 2 paychecks identical? (Mine weren't and neither were wife's). So you might consider the 2 transaction route that I previously mentioned.
