Alight Solutions holdings invalid quote/pricing.
Over the past couple of weeks, just about every other day, my 6 Alight Solutions 401K holdings have updated to a weird quote/price for that day. It's the same price for all 6, about $250.00/share, give or take a few dollars. It appears to be the end-of-day or final price update. In other words, I'll update it throughout the day, and everything looks normal, then boom, the last update, they change to that weird price, and no amount of clicking Update fixes the prices. It's not until the next day, maybe, that they return to correct pricing.
Today, all 6 were updated to $248.54. For 5, that is a significant price increase, and for 1, that is a significant price decrease. Friday and yesterday, they were normal. Last Thursday, they were all $249.14.

That sounds like a problem related to Quicken's real-time quotes option when you hold securities that are not publicly traded and thus do not have valid ticker symbols..
To make a long story short, you should either go to Edit > Preferences > Investments and un-check the Real time quotes box or go to Tools > Security List and un-check the Download Quotes box for each of the problem securities.
This will not correct past incorrect price downloads, but you will continue to receive updated quotes when you download transactions from Alight.

Nope. After further review, it's a price update issue after the markets have closed. Today, like clockwork, I clicked the update button after the markets had closed, and magically, all six were priced at $257.66.
Also, I've been tracking these holdings for decades, yes decades, without this issue. It appears this issue started on November 5th, when they were all updated to $239.34.
I have not changed my Quicken quote configuration, so something has changed in the data link between Quicken and my Huntington Ingalls Alight account.
I cannot fix it. It has to be Quicken that fixes the problem.

Forum Moderators (users whose names start with "Quicken") sometimes review issues discussed here and refer them to Development, but if you want Quicken to work on a problem, I recommend you contact Support via phone. Be sure the support agent understands the problem and gives you a ticket number for future reference. Please post the ticket number here.
You should also use the Help > Report a Problem menu in Quicken to submit the issue online. In your submission, be as clear and thorough as possible. Reference the ticket number and provide a link to this discussion. Provide step by step instructions to reproduce the problem. They will not pay much attention to a problem unless they can replicate it in house.
You will not get a response to an electronic submission, but apparently they review and prioritize the submissions and use the data to help resolve problems they decide to work on. The more reports they receive the better.
While you are waiting for this process to unfold, I am confident that you can work around this issue by taking one of the steps I recommended above: uncheck the Real Time Quotes option or uncheck the Download Quotes box for each of the affected securities.
If you want to understand why this will work, here are the details:
Quicken’s quote provider uses securities’ ticker symbols to identify the security. In US versions of Quicken, it can only supply quotes for securities that are publicly traded on US exchanges.
It does not provide quotes for bonds, private funds that are in many 401(k)s, or any security that does not have a valid ticker symbol. Occasionally the quote provider will mismatch these securities and supply incorrect prices, especially if the Premier and up “Real time quotes” option is enabled. This option is a checkbox at Edit > Preferences > Investments.
In particular, if a security has the Download Quotes box checked and its ticker symbol is blank and the Real time Quotes option is enabled, Quicken incorrectly populates that security's price with the quote for the security selected for downloading that has the first ticker symbol alphabetically, often AAPL. This is a longstanding bug.
To prevent incorrect prices from being downloaded for these types of securities, you should go to Tools > Security List and un-check the Download Quotes box for bonds and for any securities that are not publicly traded or have a blank ticker symbol. This will not correct previously downloaded incorrect prices, but it will prevent the quote provider from trying to supply prices for these securities.
If the account where the securities are held is set up for downloading, future price updates should still be provided by the brokerage when you update your transactions.
