I need to edit the Recently Used Category list for a specific account
I need to edit the Recently Used Category list for a specific account. The only articles I can find relate to the main listing of categories and do not mention how to delete a category from one specific account.
Thank you.

Can you give us an example of what it is that you need to change? Please capture an image snapshot of the transaction you're looking at and attach it (or drag it) to your response.
Are you talking about changing entries in the Tools Menu / Memorized Payee List?
Or are you talking about finding and replacing categories or other text in the transaction register?0 -
Thank you for the quick replay!
For example: In the attached screenshot I would like to delete Restaurant from this specific pop-up menu. I do not want to delete Restaurant from the full list of available categories, just from my Kroger account.

Sorry, but I don't believe that you can tailor that list by account.
Also, which Q product and what Release of that product are you running? Because I just checked my accounts (3 of them) and I didn't see that "Recently Used" option for my transaction input.
Do HELP, About Quicken for the product and Release info.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but …
AFAIK, the categories popup when entering a transaction applies to all account registers and cannot be restricted to just one specific register.
Beginning to type the desired category name, e.g., "Gro", should filter the list and show only categories containing these letters. Now it's just a matter of mosue-clicking the desired category. However, if you are about to enter a new transaction for Kroger, there should already be a recently memorized transaction in the Memorized Payee List with a category Groceries available for you to use.
Just start entering a new register transaction and type the first few letters of the Payee Name, Kroger. The Memorized Payee List popup should already have a suitable entry for you to use. Mouse-click the entry and fill in the remaining information. This works best if the preference settings in Edit / Preferences / Data Entry and Quickfill have the items highlighted in yellow enabled.

Thank you both for your answers. If you look on my screenshot Restaurants is bolded. That means it will automatically be entered for all newly downloaded Kroger transactions and I then need to manually pull up the list and change it to Groceries or whatever. It really isn't a big deal. I just was wondering if it could be changed to streamline things a little bit.
The version I am using is Deluxe, R59.35, Build 27.1.59.35. My program is set for automatic updates. My operating system is Windows 11, also set for automatic updates.

Kroger is not an account, it is a payee. It looks like you need to update Kroger entry in the memorized payee list to change the category to Groceries.
You can go to Tools | Memorized Transactions and edit the Kroger entry or right click on a Kroger transaction that has Groceries as the category and select Memorize Payee.

Thank you. That worked. Restaurants is still on the Recently Used list, but since it now automatically enters Groceries, it has achieved the desired goal.
Thanks, again.
