Unable to add Citi Personal Wealth Management account to Quicken for Windows

While trying to add a new account for Citi Personal Wealth Management after the screen from Citi where I enter my credentials for the account the next screen says "We ran into a problem. It's not your fault, etc.".

At first Quicken Support said just try again in a few days or call Citibank support. After waiting the problem still remains. When I called Citibank, they have notes dating back several weeks that Quicken is aware and there is no ETA on fixing the problem.

I wasted an hour on the phone with Quicken Support for a known problem.

When will this be fixed.

There is a recent thread that appears to be about the same issue you posted about. If it is, you might want to bookmark that thread and, perhaps, post your comments/insights there.: Re: Citi Wealth Investments unable to communicate with Quicken.

If I'm understanding that referenced post thread correctly, it seems that Citi made some website change (perhaps relative to Pershing?) but that change was not incorporated (yet) into the the FIDIR List. If this is the case, the FIDIR List needs to be updated before the issue can be fixed. The financial institution (Citi) is the only entity that can initiate such changes to the FIDIR List by contacting Inuit (who owns & manages the FIDIR List). Quicken has no authority nor capability whatsoever in making changes to the FIDIR List.

BTW, the last few months Citi has made other system changes that have affected almost all Citi customers with almost all types of accounts at one time or another. Instead of being proactive in looping in Intuit on these changes it appears that Citi has taken a reactive, after-the-fact approach.
