Quicken for Mac won't quit. I am using Quicken for Mac Classic 7.10.1 on OS 13.7.1

I was trying to create a backup to a thumb drive. Message is " …quickenbackup" already exists. Do you want to replace it?

But the cancel and replace choices are frozen. I cannot quit nor ForceQuit the program.

I am not connected to other devices and so not sync to any online accounts

I couldn't close Quicken. I couldn't Force Quit and I couldn't shut down or restart my computer. So I finally pulled the plug. (and my hair!). Anyway, it is working now.

If you couldn't Force Quit or shut down your computer, the problem was something outside Quicken. Even if Quicken's background process is stalled, you'd be able to Force Quit or shut down. It seems like your Mac or Finder was crashed.
