Changing a Bill Reminder to a Transfer Reminder

I have bill reminders that are actually transfer reminders. For example: If I am paying my Amex from my checking account I will transfer the money from my checking to the Amex account using the transfer feature. I can accomplish this transaction but the TFXR (Transfer) option which is inserted automatically into the check number column is not an option when its a bill reminder. I have many of those but don't want to delete the reminder option only to re-enter it as a transfer reminder. Is there a way to change the reminder to a transfer reminder?

Other than to delete the bill reminder and create it, again, as a transfer reminder I am not aware of any way to do that.

You could enter the TXFR into the bill reminder when you are ready to manually enter the reminder. That will add the TXFR to both the sending and receiving accounts. But that won't work if your bill reminders are set to be automatically entered.

Otherwise you can manually enter TXFR into both the checking account and the payee account…it would be two separate transaction edits…one in each account.
