US Bancorp Investments account not syncing Quicken via Intuit. Same account syncs with Empower
I am having an issue getting my new US Bancorp Investment account to sync with Quicken. I have tried using the options:
- US Bank Internet Banking
- U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc.
- U.S. Bank & U.S. Bancorp Inv.
I noticed that Quicken uses Intuit as their data aggregator. When I sign in to authorize the accounts to be shared with Quicken, I am able to see the Checking, Savings, and Credit Cards. I do not see my US Bancorp Investment account and therefore cannot add it for Quicken to sync. There is no error message since the account is simply not listed for me to add.
I saw the same issue noted here for Simplifi Money:
https://community.simplifimoney.com/discussion/9419/cant-add-u-s-bancorp-investments-accounts-due-to-fdp-105-error-edited
I would like to note that this is not an issue for the Empower Dashboard. Empower is able to sync all of the US Bank / US Bancorp Investment accounts including checking, savings, credit cards, and investment accounts. I notice that Empower uses Yodlee/Envestnet as their aggregator.
I think this is an issue between US Bancorp Investment → Intuit → Quicken since this is not an issue for US Bancorp → Yodlee/Envestnet → Empower Dashboard.
Is anyone else encountering this issue?
I am using:
Quicken Classic for Windows 11 Home
Version: R60.15
Build: 27.160.15

Both the bank and the combined bank & investments entry in Q appear to support Q.
U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. https://www.usbank.com/index.html (800) 888-4700 https://www.usbank.com/index.html ACTIVE INVESTMENT&WEB-CONNECT BANKING,CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO,INVESTMENT&EXP-WEB-CONNECT
U.S. Bank & U.S. Bancorp Inv. https://www.usbank.com/ 800-872-2657 https://nx6n8-services.1fsapi.com/nwp/usbank/enroll ACTIVE ACCOUNTINFO,INVESTMENT&DIRECT
Note, however, that the combined entry MIGHT require that you sign up for the Direct Connect service thru USB itself before that connection type works. The USB Direct Connect entry for non-investment downloads (PFM Direct Connect) requires such.
You said, in your message, "when I sign in". Sign in to WHAT? I wouldn't expect that signing into to the bank (i.e., non-investment) side would let you see the authorization to download for the investment side.
And what other aggregators do is totally irrelevant to the business model that Q/Intuit use.

I am not quite sure if I understand the response given since it does not refer to the current method of EWC+. US Bank utilizes Express Web Connect Plus (EWC+). Here is a description of how that works from Quicken:
"With Express Web Connect Plus (EWC+), you are taken from Quicken to the bank's website where, after successfully signing in, a secure token is passed to Quicken and stored by the aggregation service. With this connection method, your bank credentials are never stored and you can revoke the secure token at any time. "
Hopefully that clarifies the statement I made above - "When I sign in to authorize the accounts to be shared with Quicken, …"
This is the same method and user interface utilized on the Empower Dashboard with one key difference. That difference is that I can see and select my US Bancorp Investment account to be shared with Empower.

My listing shows as Express Web Connect. EWC+ is simply a variant of Express Web Connect, so i DID show your download method.
BUT, one doesn't "sign into" EWC+. So, what FI, as I've listed them above, did you sign into, in your web browser, to authorize these downloads?
And, again, what Empower does is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT. They're a different company with different protocols and a different agreement with USB.
