EWC+ accounts out of sync?

Question

Noticed this yesterday, but spent more time today. Example, Discover Card, TD Bank (now using EWC+ w/TD because Quicken broke direct connect). I noticed that OSU shows complete when I update all, but date of last connect in each was yesterday. So I tried Update Now from within the account. Quicken shows complete, but date is still yesterday and no new transactions. Exit and reopen Quicken, go into Discover and Update Now. Transactions download and date of last connect now shows today. Go to TD Bank account and select Download Now. Nope, shows as complete but no new transactions and date of last connect does no change. Exit and re-open Quicken. Go to TD Bank accoun and Update Now. Yes, transactions download and date of last connect changes to today.

I think this started with the 60.15 update. And the logfile does not look right to me.

Note that the DC account I still have working is performing normally using OSU, it's just the EWC+ accounts that are doing this.

and it is a "known issue".

the EWC+ issue started with all 4 EWC+ accounts right after installing 60.15. and it is strange that EWC+ works if I close Quicken and re-open it and only update a single EWC+ account.en close/re-open until all 4 are updated.

I understand how Quicken and the various connection methods are supposed to work.

I have to correct that.  It's the FINANCIAL INSTITUTION that makes the determination as to whether Quicken can download information and HOW that information will be downloaded.  The Direct Connect method of downloading required paying Quicken (the company) for that service.  Financial Institutions have gravitated to EWC+ for (they say) "security reasons" (dubious), but it's in their financial interest to do so as the payment to Quicken goes away.

The EWC+ method of downloading involves an intermediary between the Quicken program and the financial institution and that's Intuit.  Intuit periodically (actual schedule unknown) access your accounts and the financial institution and then stores that information on its servers, so depending on the time and day of the last access you can get "stale" data.

Direct connect, in contrast, actually made contact with the financial institution when you asked for a download so that information was more likely to be "real time" info.

Since EWC+ uses a longer "chain" of connections it can be difficult to know exactly where the problem (if any) lies.
