Sams Club Personal credit bill not connecting

I had my Sams Club personal credit card bill linked at one time but over a period of time it stopped working. Honestly not sure how long or when, but I had trouble with a few accounts, and I've been able to correct all but Sams Club. I even used the Review and Repair Billers which did delete some orphaned entries. I removed the Sams Club biller and re-added it. It went thru the security process sending a code to my phone which all completed successfully. But for a few days now it is still trying to connect. I have tried refreshing the bill and after a long wait it comes back with the popup that it's still trying to connect. I am in the same spot I was before deleting the biller and starting over, so not sure what else to do.

Using Quicken Classic for Windows (via Windows 10), R60.15, build 27.1.60.15

Thanks,

Jerry

    Hello @GSRainko,

I have taken the time to look further into this issue for you and have performed an internal refresh on your Sam's Club Personal Credit Card Biller. Please wait 24-48 hours and then attempt to connect again.

Let me know how it goes!

Sorry, been busy spending money instead of tracking it… Just tried a refresh and it first said there was trouble contacting the website, so I logged into the Sams acct online and all was fine. Tried a refresh again and it comes back with the same -

Just in case this may be related. I am also trying to add an online bill for a Meijer credit card (via CITI). The meijer acct is setup in quicken and linked to the online account via express web connect. However, when I try and add the online bill selecting Meijer Credit Card | CITI Bank I get the response that I must first connect the account in quicken, but it already is:

I have reset the account, tried again no luck. I have deactivated the acct, and then reactivated, but still no joy,

If not related this can wait until after we deal with the Sams issue

    Thanks Jasmine

    Hello @GSRainko,

Before proceeding, I suggest you try signing out of your data file completely and then signing back in to refresh the registration token for your Online Connected Services. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

    1. Navigate to Edit
    2. Preferences...
    3. Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
    4. Click Sign in as a different user (or it might say Sign in using a different Quicken ID)
    5. Follow the prompts to Sign Out
    6. Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password

Please let me know how this goes!

    Thank you for your reply,

When I check on our end, the status shows the account is locked. Please try logging into the account directly through the financial institution website to make sure the account is unlocked.

I also saw there was a message saying that a one time verification code is needed to link your account. Are you receiving any prompt to send/input a code when you attempt to link the biller in Quicken?

    Thank you!

I logged into the account and it is not locked. I checked the profile and removed the "privacy" option to not share info outside of Sams/Syncrony bank and tried updating again (just to see if thats the holdup) - but still waiting to connect after a "fix-it".

When I removed the biller and re-added it, I did get a one-time verification code to my phone and used it. But after that I have not been able to re-connect via a refresh.

NOTE: When I JUST NOW did a refresh (not a fix-it), it asked for the credentials and sent my phone a one-time verification. I replied to it all and it came back still connecting. I then did another refresh and it immediately came back with still connecting (not the longer wait as usual).

    Thank you for your response,

When I check on our end, it currently shows in pending status, which means it's not yet connected, but working on it, no errors/issues yet. I reported the issue to the proper channels for further investigation and resolution. We do not have an ETA.

    Thank you!

Any update on this? I have tested it out on my current file again and also a brand-new file with nothing in it but the Sams Club credit card account. Same results. It takes about 1.5 mins of authenticating and ends with "Still connecting to Sams's Club Personal Credit". When done on my current file I had deleted the biller and rebooted the PC before trying again.

    Thank you for the follow-up,

The response I received is that the issue is a known issue that is already in work. However, no ETA or further information is available at this time.

    Thank you!
