I have created a draft (my first), but get no feedback on trying to post it and the ASK QUESTION prompt appears semi-grayed out.

A draft for what? A question to post in the forum? You just posted this. Just copy and paste it into a new question or into the box at the bottom of this thread.

If you save a draft, will get something that looks like this:

If you hover over that and click on it, it will take you to the draft. Clicking on the draft will bring you back to the same thread with that saved draft entered in the comment box. From there you just edit/post it as a normal comment.
