All Catagories Are Autofilled the Same. Posted Answer Does Not Address the Problem
All categories are autofilled the same. The Memorized Payee List was deleted and still all categories are being autofilled the same with the same category as before. New entries in the Category column should be blank since the Memorized Payee List no longer exists. What is the fix?

To answer what I think is your question, Quicken will automatically add Categories it thinks are appropriate to downloaded transactions if you allow it. This is controlled by the checkbox at Edit > Preferences > Downloaded Transactions "Automatically categorize transactions".
