Reconcile / Add Transaction / Opening Balance
I have a problem when reconciling an account. The problem occurs if I need to add a transaction. When I find a missing transaction, I select the NEW. Instead of opening the account and getting a blank transaction, Quicken jumps to the "Opening Balance". Why does Quicken go to the "Opening Balance"? Can this be corrected?

When did this issue begin to occur? Did it work as expected before? Are you receiving any messages or codes when attempting this? If you don't mind, could you please provide a screenshot or two of what you described?
