Reg acct and savings goal don't seem "linked"?
I am trying to set up a savings goal basically to "rathole" money. I set the savings goal account up and went to my regular checking account to transfer funds to the new savings goal account. For some reason, it shows the transfer in the savings goal, but it did NOT deduct it from the main checking account? I thought when you made the transfer, the checking balance would decrease by whatever you transferred into the savings goal. Am I missing something? Apparently I am. Please help. Thanks.

In the Savings Goal "account" what shows as the Category of the transfer?

Is this what you mean? I apologize. I'm 73 and never had a problem until the last update and now things don't work the same.

NO, go to the register of that "Rathole" and look at the transactions in it. What's in the Category field of those transactions.
BTW, I'm 73 also

Unspecified account

There's something wrong with that contribution. Did you previously delete the account that it came from? Because just now I tested a Savings Goal, and the transaction in the Goal account showed as coming from my Fidelity Investments checking account.
Also, have you tried Validating your Q data file? Because the other explanation would be a corrupted Q data file.
