Hidden Accounts

It would be good if there was a function to turn off posting to hidden accounts which can happen accidentally

    Try going to Tools > Account list. Click on Show hidden accounts at the bottom and find an unwanted account. Click on Edit then the Display options tab.

    Check the Hide in transaction entry lists box if it is not already checked. With this option selected, you will not see the selected accounts when choosing Categories for transfers unless you check the Show hidden accounts box at the bottom.

    Another thing you can do is to rename unused accounts so that their names start with "xx" or something unique so they will sort to the bottom of any list.

    Does that fix it for you, or is there another scenario where you are accidentally posting to the wrong account?
