Friends, I’m working on creating a report to track dividends and was wondering if anyone has already developed something similar. If you have any reports or insights to share, I’d greatly appreciate your help!

Thanks for your time and attention

Please elaborate upon what exactly you're trying to do. And, does QMac not have an "Investment Income" report?

Also, you've posted about QMac in a QMac forum … but your profile reads QWin. Which is it?

Are you looking at a solution within Q for Mac ?

I use a Numbers spreadsheet to do this

I doubt there is something Quicken Classic for Mac can do, at this time anyway

Sorry for the confusion! I switched to Mac a few years ago and didn’t know I had an option to update my profile. But I’ve fixed it now. No , QMac doesn’t have an “investment income” report. I created a custom report based on the category, and it’s working, but I had to manually update the category for about 2 out of 10 dividend receive entries.

Numbers is a Mac counterpart to Excel. Don't know anything else about it, or how to get it.

Numbers comes free with every Apple device, has for a long time now. (Back in the day you had to buy it as part of the iWork suite, but they made all the iWork apps free in 2013.)

Why not use the "Schedule B - Interest and Dividends" report? You can save it as another name and edit the dates, accounts, etc. I have done that and have two reports "Interest and Dividends" and "Interest and Dividends (Last Year)."

    I will certainly try that
