Multiple currencies?
I was a user of Quicken from the early 1990s up until the latest version of Quicken XG 2004. Those early versions supported multiple currencies.
I'd like to come back to Quicken, but need to be sure which version(s) support that feature. My question is, does Classic Premier handle that or do I need Classic Deluxe? What about Quicken Simplifi?

Since you mention Quicken XG 2004 which is the last UK (Windows) version that Intuit supported I will give you the "Windows answer".
Quicken Windows US, does support multiple currencies, but not UK financial institutions. Everything would have to be done manually or at best converting to QIF and have a very limited importing that way.

Another struggle is just getting existing data into the newest version. You haven't indicated if that is a concern for you or not.
When I think about the changes between 2004 and the newest version most of them are in online services that you wouldn't be able to take advantage of, but there are a few that might benefit you. I can say that the budgeting system is quite different (which some might find not to their liking, but I do think it is better). I can't really think of much that is "removed" with the exception of what I have documented above for QIF importing.
As for Quicken Simplifi, I don't use it, but it sounds like a no go for you. It is one currency at a time, I believe the only two currencies it supports are USD and CAD. It is very much an online tool, so I don't see it as a good tool if you don't live in the US or Canada.

Thanks for your response, and sorry for not mentioning that it's the Windows version that I'd be interested in.
I understand that financial organizations in the UK or other countries wouldn't be supported. I didn't expect that, and it's no problem for me.
Also, it's not essential that I import data from Quicken XG. I'd probably start a new set of accounts anyway and archive the old ones.

Just so you know, I don't think you will be able to have both Quicken XG and Quicken Subscription installed at the same time.
