Looking for answers on downloading transactions for my Aspire credit Cards
I am trying to get the two separate accounts I have from Aspire when I try and set the accounts up for downloads in Quicken there is nothing to use except Aspire Visa. Which when I use that I use that I get an error that Quicken cannot connect to Aspire Cards. I tried the link that was on the connection and my browser says that the site will not answer. Any idea?

When you have tried setting up the download connection did you get an error code? If so, what is it?
How long have you been trying to get the connection set up? Note that financial institutions will sometime block connections from Quicken when they are doing maintenance and weekends are the most common days that such blocks occur. So if your attempts to set up the connection were done just this weekend then waiting until tomorrow and trying again will often provide better results.
There are multiple "Aspire" financial institutions in Add Account. Please confirm:
- The full name of the "Aspire" financial institution that your accounts are at.
- The website URL of the "Aspire" that your accounts are at.
- What the account types are that you are trying to get set up for downloading.
Following are the FIDIR (Financial Institutions Directory) listings for the various "Aspires". The FIDIR list all the financial institutions that support Quicken, the types of accounts they support for downloading, the types of connection methods they support and which services they might support.
68801 68801 68801 Aspire Community FCU CC https://aspire.creditunion/ NA https://aspirefcu-dn.financial-net.com/web ACTIVE CREDIT&WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
- This one supports only Credit accounts (i.e., credit cards, loans) for downloading.
- It supports only the Web Connect (WC) downloading connection method. WC is a process whereby we manually download and import transactions in QFX files (sometimes also referred to as "Quicken" or "Web Connect" files) from within our online account at the financial institution.
19956 19956 19956 Aspire Federal Credit Union https://www.aspirefcu.org/ 1-800-995-3666 https://www.myaspirefcu.org/tob/live/usp-core/app/login/consumer ACTIVE BANKING&WEB-CONNECT BANKING,CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
- This one supports downloading of Banking accounts (i.e., checking, savings) with WC.
- It also supports downloading of Banking and Credit accounts with Express Web Connect (or Express Web Connect+). EWC/EWC+ are download connections that permit Quicken's aggregation partner (Intuit) to do the downloads on our behalf when we run One Step Update (OSU) or Update Now.
07073 07073 07073 Aspire Financial https://www.aspirefinancial.com/ NA https://onlinebanking.aspirefinancial.com/pages/login.aspx ACTIVE BANKING,ACCOUNTINFO&DIRECT BANKING&WEB-CONNECT BANKING,CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
- This one supports Banking accounts with Direct Connect (DC). DC is what it says….a connection from the Quicken software directly with the financial institution. It is the preferred connection method for security, speed and reliability but some financial institutions require the user to pay a monthly fee for the service. In addition, some financial institutions have special login requirements that are different from what is used to log into the online account. You would need to contact the financial institution to get answers to these things.
- This one also supports Banking accounts with WC.
- This one also supports Banking and Credit accounts with EWC/EWC+.
61386 61386 61386 Aspire Resources Inc https://www.mohela.com/ N/A https://www.mohela.com/DL/secure/account/oginStep1.aspx ACTIVE BANKING,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
- This one supports only Banking accounts with EWC/EWC+.
60096 60096 60096 Aspire Visa http://www.aspirecard.com/index.jsp NA https://www.aspirecard.com/en_ext/index.jsp ACTIVE CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
- This is the one you have been trying to set up the download connection with.
- It supports downloading of Credit accounts only and with EWC/EWC+
The answers to the questions above should greatly help to determine which of these Add Account financial institutions you should be trying to set up the download connection with.
If you type in "aspire" in the Search field of Add Account you will see all of these "Aspire" financial institutions listed like this:
Have you tried setting up the download connection with any of these "Aspire" financial institutions other than Aspire Visa? If not, you might want to try doing that to see which one will work for you.

Boatnmaniac first sorry first time I have actually used this forum. Was not sure if people only looked in one section or not.
These are two accounts using credit cards by Aspire. When I went to set the first one up and I got to the Search for Financial Institution I looked and the only one that I thought would match was the Aspire Visa. So this is what I usedAfter entering my user and password I got back that Quicken could not contact Aspire. No error code just that. I clicked on the www.aspirecard.com shown just to see where it took me and my browser came back with this would not answer. I did try repeating this a few times with same results. I did not try any of the others as they both said credit union. Sorry very much a newbie at this. Have had the software for many a year and for almost 3 years I have not really used it so now I am setting up old accounts and adding new ones. And this is the first one I have had issues woth

@Barney Rubble - No need to apologize for anything. Everyone is new to Community once and even after that it is an ongoing learning experience. So, welcome to the Community.
I tried entering each of the two URLs listed in the FIDIR for Aspire Visa both yesterday and just now. Both times I got the same error message. So, there does appear to be an issue of some sort with Aspire Visa because either the URLs are incorrect or the websites are not working.:
I also did a Google search for "AspireCard" and "Aspire Card". Both brought up Aspire.com with no reference to AspireCard.com. So, maybe Aspire has changed their website but did not inform the aggregator (Intuit) so the FIDIR listing was not updated?
Or maybe AspireCard was acquired by another financial institution and the FIDIR was not updated to reflect this?: What makes me think this is that I did find a Comenity bank URL that includes "aspirecard" in it:
. So maybe this is what the URL should be instead of AspireCard.com?But in reviewing both the Aspire.com and Comenity websites it shows that AspireCard is a MasterCard, not a Visa card: You said yours is a Visa. So, I rather doubt that Aspire.com or AspireCard is the financial institution you need to be connecting with.
You answered 1 of the 4 questions I'd asked in my previous post. Please provide responses to the other 3 questions because without that information I am at a dead end on this issue. Here are those unanswered 3 questions for quick reference.:
- The full name of the "Aspire" financial institution that your accounts are at. (This will be on the statements you receive, the website where you log into to view your card accounts and/or on the front or back of the actual credit cards.)
- The website URL of the "Aspire" that your accounts are at. (This would be where you login to view your credit cards accounts data, transactions and balances.)
- Did you try setting up downloads with any of the other "Aspire" financial institutions shown in the Add Account picture shown in my last post?
- Another question that could be helpful: Where did you get the credit cards from….different from Aspire-whatever….a bank or credit union…? Maybe the accounts data & transactions can be downloaded from them?
