Quicken For Mac
How about start from scratch and build a new program from the ground up. I have using Quicken since the days of DOS and been using Quicken For Mac since 2018. It got better for a while but now, bugs are everywhere and the updates are not significant.

Umm, that's exactly what they did! A complete re-write, from scratch. Now, the "new" Quicken Mac is now 10 years old, and some of the user interface and core database design goes back another 5 years before that, but they did rewrite Quicken Mac to replace the dead-end code in the legacy Quicken Mac, which lasted from 1988 through 2007.
It got better for a while but now, bugs are everywhere…
I'd be interested to know what sorts of bugs you're dealing with, as I know I, and I think most Quicken Mac users, regard it as a stable piece of software. (I'm not talking about connectivity issues, which is without a doubt the weak point in the Quicken ecosystem, but that's not something the Mac program controls.)
and the updates are not significant…
What is a useful or useless feature addition is subjective to everyone, depending on how they use Quicken. I've found there to be a number of useful additions in the past year. Off the top of my head, in 2024 we've gained the investment watchlist, security details screen, and capital gains tax estimator, enhancements to the Dashboard, reports folder organization, lender loans, adding "memo" to reports criteria, and account attachments. (I'm sure there's more.)
Now, that said, these aren't major, groundbreaking new features. I believe a significant amount of development time this year was sunk into building the functionality for tracking customers, creating invoices, applying receipt storage invoices, and related functionality, features which we're been told are coming in a release any day now. Of course, all that work — which is probably the biggest new set of features since modern Quicken Mac was created — is only useful to people who are using (or want to be using) the Business & Personal subscription for managing a small business. That means the rest of us can feel a little frustrated at the features we did (and didn't) see this year. But from the hints that have been dropped, a lot should be coming in 2025, from revamped and expanded budget functionality to report enhancements which will likely include investment reports for the first time, improved search functionality, and a number of planning tools. What exactly will get completed and released when is known only to the developers, and we all wish more features were delivered more quickly, but I'm happy to know these things are being worked on because it demonstrates management's commitment to continue to build the functionality of Quicken Mac.
