Fifth Third OL-393-A error (12-31-24)
I just started today (12-31-24) to get the OL-393-A on all my Fifth Third Accounts. It appears any time quicken does any sort of update, they one either don't communicate with Fifth Third or you have to wait a week of two before Fifth Third starts working again. Is anyone having the same issues?

The last new release of QWin is R60.15 that occurred nearly 1 month ago (on Dec 3). If it were a version update issue or even an issue in general with Fifth Third I would have expected to see a number of posts by other users about this issue. But I did a search for this error code with Fifth Third going back to Nov 1 and found nothing. In fact, the last Fifth Third post with this error code that I found is dated July 13. So, this appears to be an issue specific to you and not the version update.
Most likely is that there was something that blocked your OSU connection today or caused a momentary "hiccup" on Fifth Third's server.
After you got this error message, did you try doing Update Now (Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Update Now)? This will often resolve issues with this error code.
If it does not, you might want to try Reset Account (Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Edit Account Details > Online Services tab > Reset Account).
If these actions do not resolve the issue, I think I would wait and try running OSU, again, later in the day because if there is an issue with Fifth Third's server that issue will most likely be resolved after a little while.
If the issue is not self-resolved by later in the day you might want to try to Deactivate/Reactivate the account but be sure to backup your data file before proceeding. (Account Register > upper right Gear icon > Edit Account Details > Online Services tab > Deactivate > Set Up Now > follow the prompts and when given the opportunity be sure to LINK the downloaded data to your existing account.)
