Why is my balance off suddenly?

I reconciled through the end of November without issues, but suddenly my account balance is drastically different from the bank's balance, and items from 2023 are unreconciled. The 2023 items do not fix the balance issue, which was my first thought, and I'm at a loss here. Does anyone have any ideas? Validate and Repair didn't fix the issue.

@ecrow, I have found that the most common cause FOR ME is that I've entered a transaction with the wrong year in the date.  But I'm old and sometimes screw things up!

This is just manual reconciliation offline in Quicken. There are no error codes, but the account balanced at the end of November, and it suddenly is very off.
