Industry / Category 1/3/5-Year not updating

I noticed a few days ago that the Industry / Category 1-Year, 3-Year and 5-Year columns are not updating. I don't know when it began but it was likely within the last few weeks. I understand these values come from quotes.var file. I checked the file and it has the values I am seeing in the Quicken View. Another thread said they fixed it by renaming quotes.var. I am hesitant to do that since I couldn't find any other information on this issue. There are no problems with the quotes themselves. I did a validate and didn't fix anything.

Performance data from Quicken's quote provider is often out of date, especially near the beginning of the year. Usually if you wait a couple of weeks the data will me more accurate.

I doubt that deleting the quotes.var file will make any difference, but if you want to try you can rename it and see what happens, then change it back.

Never noticed that before but may not have been looking that closely. Regardless, my understanding is those values update daily, same as quotes. Will the missing data be recovered when the quote provider catches up? I'd really like to see the data as of 12/31/2024.

FYI, the values began updating Monday 1/6. However there aren't any historical values, not sure if this is the way it's supposed to be. Seems wrong to provide this data if it's only accurate for the last download.

The Industry/Category data is supposed to update daily from the quote feed, but as you have seen Quicken does not store the historical data. See
