R60 issues with Investment number of shares

After I upgraded to R60.2 (Windows) the number of shares changed drastically. As I go backwards with my holdings value it isn't correct until 11/1/2022 which is PRIOR to me doing a MF conversation to ETF. Previous to R60.2 everything worked fine with shares being correct. Is this a bug? I tried going back to my file prior to 12/1/2024 and re-importing information but the issue is way back. Any suggestions?

Quicken makes a backup of the data file at the beginning of the version update process. The backup file name will have the version that was being updated from in the backup file name as highlighted in yellow in this example.:

I would try restoring that back up file. You can search for that backup file (actually all Quicken data files) by going to File > Find Quicken Files.

Yes, I tried that. No change sadly.

Maybe try restoring an older backup file to see if the issue exists there, too?

Another option: You could try to down-rev your Quicken installation to the last version you had before this issue was first observed? To do this go to https://www.quicken.com/support/reinstalling-and-patching-your-quicken-subscription-version-after-your-membership-has/ , scroll down to the version you would like to down-rev to and click on it to download and save that file. Once you have saved the file, double click on it or run it as an administrator. It will down-rev your current installation.

If you do try down-revving your installation you might want to first make sure your User Account Control Settings is set to "Always Notify". Then whenever Quicken tries to automatically update the version of your Quicken installation you will get a popup where you can prevent that from happening. Otherwise you might find that you have done the down-rev and Quicken will at sometime automatically up-rev you to the current version, again.
