Find & Replace is Missing????
I want to change the Category on multiple transactions to specific recipients. No problem FINDing the transactions, but there seems to be no way to REPLACE the old Category with the new Category without editing each transaction individually. I know…doesn't take long, but it's N transactions times the number of keystrokes instead of 1 set of keystrokes.
Tried help…Mac Classic help shows screen shots that look like 1995, not 2025, and what is described is not at all what I see on screen.
This is for macOS & Quicken 7.10.1

You can do this; it's just not quite intuitive. Select the transactions on which you want to change the Category. Then select Transactions > Edit Transaction. The pop-up window allows you to enter a Category and apply it to all the selected transactions at once.
There's a But… This only works for transactions without splits; it does not apply changes to individual split lines. If the transactions for which you want to change Categories have split lines, you'll have to edit them one at a time.
Supposedly a robust/complete search-and-replace is on the agenda for the Quicken Mac development team, so I'm hoping we might finally see a mass edit which applies to both non-split and split transactions sometime later this year.

… and the shortcut keystroke for the multi-edit is cmd-I (eye) in case you need to do this a lot.
BTW, if your subscription is still current @MWKingSD, it would be wise to install the updates… QMac is on 8.0 now. If your subscription has lapsed, no worries. You'll still be able to use the last version released while your subscription was active… which is presumably why you're running 7.10.1
If and when Quicken releases the new and improved multi-edit that will change split transactions as well, you will of course need to to (subscribe and) update to get the new feature(s).

Thanks Jacobs, and you are right, that's not intuitive at all.
Karl - I update when the software says it needs one, I'll have to figure out what I missed - thanks!
